Rainbow Knoll Trail, part of the Seven Springs Loop, offers a unique hiking experience, especially after a series of rains. While the trail itself is relatively unremarkable, the steep inclines combined with clay-heavy soil made it exceptionally challenging during our hike. By the end, we were carrying about a pound of clay on each shoe and plenty on our hiking poles. The steep ascent was made manageable only with the help of the poles, which we were immensely grateful for.
