Great park to go and enjoy some fresh air and relax. Due to Covid-19 most sporting events there have been cancelled. There is a new activity they added way in the back of the park. It’s the new kayak launching pad. There are parking spots for your vehicle and space to walk around. There are some picnic tables with shade. There are signs for parking areas. Even signs for caution of wild life in the water. The water is dark and murky since it’s a body of lake. There is a 30 min nature walk...

Extremely nice fields but the fields are on high grounds and if you want to park closer to a certain field you have to do it on the grass and there’s no access for my wheelchair there, I’ve tried to go up (the fields are on higher grounds than the parking) with my wheelchair and it went sideways, I almost felt from it. Lakes by the Bay Park is a pretty good size Park and great for running as well as cycling or playing some sports out in the field. Decided to take my bike the other day over there and even went on the Cutler Bay trail that's basically tucked in the corner. Was disappointed with the canoe ramp. It goes to a retention pond. The water is marked "no swimming", so it certainly wasn't thought out very much. It looks like the canoe launch was thousands of dollars. Move it to real water.

A nice sports facility with a volleyball court. Unfortunately the lines and the volleyball nets are vandalized. Still a great area to practice baseball and softball. Also soccer.
