
Beautiful hike even in fog and light mist. It was difficult for me, but I struggle with physical limitations. For most people who are fit, I imagine it would be a moderate hike. I hiked the coastal trail almost to Black Point and then returned to the trailhead. My tips: I would not bring little children on this hike. It would be arduous for them with not much of interest, not to mention that the cliffs are dangerous and open. There are a few little streams, but they were all dry when I went. Kids are 3 and 6. 6 year old made it there and back no problem. 3 year old would have made it there without an issue if time was on our side. Read moreNot sure how old some of these reviews are, but we did the full 10mi loop to Fairy Point and the trails are not well maintained at all. A significant portion of it has brush covering the trail and you have to just walk through it. The trail is long and the part in the woods is dreadful. DO NOT HIKE THE INLAND TRAIL! It is horrifically boring and monotonous. The coastal trail is much better with nice views, and why this trail got as many stars as it did. Also...
