Highly disappointed with the lack of integrity of the management. My family and I went on a Monday afternoon to pick blackberries. We stated the intention to pick several buckets to preserve and the manager stated that it was recovering from the weekend and was a little picked over but that there would be berries out there. This didn't worry me at first because we weren't looking for the prettiest berries or anything. A more accurate description would have been for them to say that the bushes were completely empty. After searching for 2 hours and coming back with a very small basket of berries, I expressed my disappointment and attempted to communicate with the manager that her description was overly optimistic. She became extremely rude and declared that she would not refund the field access fee which is not something we had even requested. She began to attempt to gaslight us in an attempt to change her statement. We let her know that while we are still paying for today we will no longer be returning and just seek out a different orchard to make our purchases from.
We absolutely loved the former Reed Valley orchard and visited them multiple times every year. This new management and company has driven us away and we will take our business elsewhere I will caution any who are looking for an orchard or berry farm to...
Read moreWe took our kids to pick strawberries at Stepping Stone Farm and had the best time! They were so helpful and Ally was such a delight. We also have a small business that sells freeze dried products and we're selected to be apart of the Kentucky Strawberry Festival event held here. It was amazing the amount of work and dedication the whole team put forth to make this event come to life. It brought over 5000 people in just one day and they didn't miss a beat! Highly recommend this farm for visiting and if you can catch their events, you'll be amazed at all they have to offer. We have only had their strawberries but they were huge, juicy, and the very best strawberries we have ever had. Five stars to Stepping Stone Farm and Ally...
Read moreThe Strawberry Festival at Stepping Stone Festival was a fun event on May 26. There were children's activities (a large play gym, inground trampoline, hayride, and petting zoo) included with the price. Even though the strawberries didn't cooperate and ripened a week early, there were some available, and they were delicious! There were over 100 vendors, live music all day, food and drink trucks, and plenty of facilities to take of needs. I had a booth this year. The owners are very friendly, well organized, have plenty of staff/volunteers, and a great map. If you get confused where to park, they take it in stride. That says a lot! The community supports the farm rain or shine. I just can't recommend attending or having a...
