If I could give a zero star I would!!! This place jus embarrassed me not only in their establishment but outside of it also!!! I decided to get my daughter and one of her classmates together for spring break at mullet hop! I went to get some food before we played I ordered my food and went to pay handed the cashier a 100$ bill she marks the bill to check if it’s real in which the marking clearly showed it was real she then proceeds to call someone over they take my money to the back I can see thru the window that they are passing my money around to a crowd at the bar they are all checking it whatever once the person who took my money to the back noticed I was watching he proceeds to come tell me they have marked it twice and it’s still saying it’s fake so he waiting on the light to check it! Ok fine!!! Moments later he returns handing me my money back telling me it’s fake!!! At this point I am like ok they jus don’t know what they are doing I know it isn’t fake I am jus going to run to store next door have them checked it! I proceed to the store as I walk in the store clerk is on the phone I get something to buy so the 100$ bill can be checked as I am handing the guy my money he says o your the one they jus called about! He then stated he was informed not to take any money from me that i was trying to break counterfeit money at this time i am livid mad and embarrassed even more!! He checks the money for me every way the bowling alley did and extra ways and tells me it’s real and accepts it! My aunt calls them asking for an apology and they hang up on her and I then go back to bowling alley where my children were playing and ask for an apology and instead of them approaching me they went to my child’s friend parent who had nothing to do with any of it and told him to tell me to calm down or I would be barred from their establishment!!! what a great way to run a business great customer...
Read moreI was happy with the staff and the whole bowling experience and I am a huge fan of the air hockey game. It was working but the scoreboard wasn't. I played anyway. (The next time we went it was repaired) It's certainly not the cheapest bowling alley I've been to but my son absolutely Loves the arcade and I absolutely love that boy. We will make sure that we don't go on a weekend though. There was a loud and vulgar argument in the parking lot and I waited until they left but as we passed the group by the door it was clear that they had no qualms about using horrible language in the presence of a child. None of which is the fault of the bowling alley. The arcade was packed and we had to ask the teenagers if they would please let me play the air hockey game with my son as there was about 8 of them using it for a seat. The only thing I would like to suggest to the bowling alley establishment is to monitor the arcade area on nights when the teenaged population is out in force. The young black kids were very rude and acted as though they were in charge and I had no business asking them to move from the games that they were crowding around or sitting on but definitely Not playing. I spend a good deal of money especially in the arcade and I don't like to have these kids disrespect me and make my son nervous. The staff is nice to us and we usually have a great time. I guess I will be going on the weeknights until the start of school. I'm going to be sure that I take my 6'4" husband with us to make sure that I am taken seriously by these people who are used to speaking with horrible language when there are small...
Read moreMy son & I are regular bowlers and have participated in league bowling. I'll start with the positives. The bartender was professional and efficient. The Chicken Wrap was very good, but the staff aren't very knowledgeable or friendly. My son asked for no cheese on his wrap 3 times and they still put cheese on his wrap. He took it back and they said he didn't ask for no cheese. lol We wanted to pay for 3 games each, but they would only allow us to pay by the hour (something to do with the fact it was a Sunday and after 12:00pm). It was $25 per hour. It was also Father's day and the place was packed! I ended up buying a another hour for us to finish bowling, partly due to bowlers not understanding proper bowling etiquette. Now more negatives. We started on lane 2 and there was a child's birthday party going on. No big deal. After about 30 minutes on the lane I decided to pay for another hour. The attendant told me that she couldn't give more time on the lane and that we would have to move to another lane because lane 2 was reserved for a birthday party. So, we moved to lane 15. We started bowling and the bowling rack was knocking down pins that should have remained standing. I talked to the attendant and he did a reset on the lane, but it didn't solve the issue. So, they moved us to lane 9 and we finished bowling. The floor around the bowling area was sticky and I assume someone had spilled a sugary beverage and it wasn't cleaned up appropriately. We normally go to Spanish Trail, but they were close on Father's Day? If you do go to Cypress, bring a boat load of patience as you...
