In January of this year, my daughterâs father and I purchased a 2019 Honda Accord Touring from BMW Galleria, located an hour and a half from our hometown. We were told the vehicle had undergone a full inspection and was in excellent condition. Initially, we were quoted a price of $16,200. However, upon arrival, Mrs. Amy informed us the price was $16,800. Only after pointing out the discrepancy did she reluctantly agree to honor the original priceâa classic bait-and-switch tactic.
I explained that this vehicle was intended as a gift for our daughterâs 16th birthday, and asked if there was any flexibility on the price to better align with our $15,000 budget. Predictably, Mrs. Amy refused, citing this as âthe best price in the nationâ and then tried to pressure us with the tired line that someone else was supposedly interested in the car. It was obvious we were dealing with a textbook, high-pressure sales experience with zero Fâs to give.
Despite reservations, we went ahead with the purchase. Our daughter is a straight-A student, and we wanted her to have a safe, reliable, and nice vehicleâsomething she could be proud of and drive for years to come. That expectation was shattered less than two months later when the car began to overheat. We checked the coolantâno issue thereâbut the dashboard began flashing warnings not to drive due to high engine temperature.
We took it to our local Honda dealership, only to be told the car has a cracked head gasket and would require nearly $5,000 in repairs. This vehicle had no accidents, no misuse, and was driven only to and from school. We attempted to contact BMW Galleria multiple times for assistanceâcalls that have gone completely ignored.
Yes, we declined the extended warrantyâbut any dealership with integrity would take responsibility when a vehicle they vouched for ends up with a catastrophic engine issue within weeks. Itâs unacceptable. A cracked head gasket on a âtop-notchâ certified car? Either it was never properly inspected or this dealership simply doesnât care once the sale is done.
BMW Galleria sold us a lemon. And Mrs. Amyâs robotic salesmanship and lack of accountability only adds insult to injury. If youâre considering buying from this dealership, donât walkârun in the other direction. Mercedes would never do this to...
Read moreDO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DISMISSIVE AND DISCRIMINATIVE DEALERSHIP!!!! If I could leave zero stars, I would. I had the worst customer experience at this dealership today, and I felt like nobody wanted me inside that dealership or even help me buy a car. When me and my white conventionally handsome husband went to buy a M440i, we were treated with kindness and respect, and they were really helpful. I do not want to make this situation about gender or race, but I definitely can tell a difference when I went by myself to look for a car. When I walked in there myself to drop off my M440i to get a car wash, I was walking around to look for another car. I kept making eye contact with the sales reps on the floor and every single one avoided my eye contact. No one wanted to greet me or offer help. No one even greeted me the entire time that I was there. The only time someone spoke to me was when I asked a rep about my friend that worked there if they were present, so I can buy a car from him because no one else wanted to work with me. At one point, I had to call my husband and walk around the floor two times to show him the cars myself. I even had to read the MSRP specs by myself to my husband so that we can look at the car. I walked around hoping someone would come and help me, but no one ever did. People kept looking at me and avoiding me. It made me so mad, I left and looked at other reviews about how others were treated. I found out that my situation was not the only one. I hope no one is ever in this position where they have to beg for a dealership to help them buy a car. My money will be going elsewhere because I do not support their dismissive and...
