There was one staff member that took his job wayyy too seriously. A little girl was playing with a ball in the basketball area... bothering nobody. And he came, walked past the parent (DIDN'T SPEAK,SAY EXCUSE ME or anything) took the ball from the maybe 1-2years old. Then proceed to put the ball in the dodgeball area where they were clearly not in need of another ball. (NOTE: the ball BEEN in the basketball area the entire time). The mama bear quickly corrected him and he impolitely TOOK a dodgeball for a kid's hand in the dodgeball area and gave it to the little girl. CLEARLY he's in the wrong field. Smh that could have gone terribly... adults play about a lot of things....our kids aren't one. Just because they are kids doesn't give you a pass at being a polite adult. Lol had my kid( the one he took the ball from) looked sour at me 😂😂 OVER WITH! My kid wasn't going to disrespect an adult but his mother and father most definitely will on his behalf.
Idk his name but he is Caucasian, and wore multi colored socks up to his knees. Remind him that respect goes two ways. If you hurt a kid's feelings over foolishness, a parent will react unapologetically.
As far as jumping, it's ok .... The pictures posted are exactly what you get. Great for 8 and under...older kids would want more to do. Dodgeball was the only attraction for the older kiddos.
No we wouldn't go back. Not just due to THAT staff member ( the rest were AMAZING). This was LIFE for my five year old but boring to my...
Read moreWe went for a birthday party and it was our first time going to thhis place. The lines were long and it was very crowded at the entrance. When it was finally our turn to sign in, they informed me that we were in the wrong line and made me go to the back of the line that we were supposed to be in. When we got to the desk again, they told me that I had to fill out a waiver, which is understandable. However, they could have told me that when i got to the desk the first time. So, we filled out the waiver and had to get in line again. Each time we got to the desk, the person who was at the desk didn't smile and didn't seem to have good customer service skills. The whole sign in process took about 15 minutes. I feel like it wouldn't have been that bad had one of the employees at the desk smiled or maybe appolagized for the the inconvenience. Other than that, the experience was good. My kids had a lot of fun. My suggestion, for the sign in process, would be to maybe have someone at the door directing people on what needs to be done as far signing the waiver, which line to get in, especially for people who have never been there. It would make it go a lot smoother for the customer. If it wasn't for the fact that my kids had a really good time, i would have probably given...
Read moreMullet 'Hop is fun for the whole family. It is directly attached-- you don't have to walk outside, to a bowling alley and cocktail bar. The hop itself is really new and clean. The attendants/safety guards are super nice to the kids, and seemed to be focused on firmly minimizing risky behaviors without interfering with the fun. My kid loves to jump around on the trampolines, and it has helped him be a bit more fearless when he plays outside. The attached bowling alley has a huge alligator skin hanging on the wall that amazed my son. The bowling alley seemed sparkling new, with comfy couches at each lane and a snack bar with a pizza oven. I don't bowl, but the atmosphere was friendly. The bar has an enclosed area for smoking. There is an arcade with video games, pinball, and other arcade diversions. My only issue with the 'Hop is this: I wish they would set the TV screens upstairs on the deck to the cameras that face the rear of the jumping area. I was only there to watch my son, and I didn't care about music videos. If they change that, I will change my...
