Experience felt like I was buying a car⌠instantly felt attacked and pressured from Janet the minute we walked in. Yes she was very informative but I felt somethered and pressured. However, I went in there, determined to purchasing new bed and why they try to sell me on the most expensive I was able to ignore that and find the one that we felt best suited our needs all the way around, including financially.
I wish I wouldâve been left alone more to try out the beds a little bit, and that it felt more like a personal approach as opposed to a sales approach. But unfortunately, that was not the case.
When it went to purchasing the bed and mattress of our choice, the checking out process with Janet was very frustrating as the she kept struggling with how to input all of the promos and discounts, but also seemed as though I was paying more than I should have been. I brought up what I was finding on purpleâs website directly, and the sales person was able to match the discounts they were giving and price but somewhere along the line she removed the pillows we were purchasing along with those discounts. This was not caught until after we had ran the amount of 4700 which we were told originally included the pillows. We then had to make a separate payment for the pillows separately, which we already felt like we were overpaying for. This was extremely frustrating and I wanted to walk out many times during the checkout process
I kept thinking I wish I had a different sales person in which I could have chosen them myself to the personality that best suits us and our needs. Walking in here, we were a for sure sale, but the sales person almost lost us quite a few times⌠such a done deal gone wrongâŚ
Additionally, they came to deliver our bed today after weâve been on the schedule for over a week and the base was completely damaged by a forklift. They left the mattresses and did not give us an update as to when we would get the base. This is super inconvenient as we stripped our bed, took apart our other bed and rearranged our work schedules to have this delivered. We pay way too much money to have this kind of experience. Now we canât even get a hold of anyone but will be demanding them to deliver the bed still today or picking up the mattresses and giving us a total refund as we will then take our business elsewhere. Dylan promptly greeted me when I entered the store and asked what I came in for. I mentioned I needed a new mattress, wanted the bed frame that raised up or down and probably looking for a memory foam type. He asked a few more need assessing questions and provided some terrific insight for me to consider and narrow down my choices.
Once we determined my price range and priorities, we were off! Dylan was extremely knowledgeable and knew the product lines well. He explained the features and benefits of each line I was interested in.i never felt pressured or overwhelmed. The entire process took maybe 45 minutes and that was with me âtrying outâ about four different mattress types. Dylan provided solid value and tips on how the frame technology worked and benefits of the warranty. I was concerned about the âmechanical partsâ wearing out over the years and the warranty and explanation alleviated that.
At the end, Dylan mentioned a sale on some cooling pillow protectors and went the extra mile to locate them at a different store (thank you Dylan!!) I have been putting off mattress shopping for MONTHS because I absolutely dreaded it. Dylan was fantastic!    Read moreWe went to the Denver Mattress in Frederick/Dacono looking for a specific mattress, but we weren't 100% sure what we wanted. Lukas took us straight to what we asked for, but after trying it out, he could tell it just wasn't the one for us. He listened to what we were looking for and suggested a mattress that he thought we'd like and explained why he thought it might be more of what we were looking for. At our request, he also offered other suggestions based on our questions to compare materials and feel; however, he never once tried to get us to spend more than our stated budget.
We really appreciated how Lukas understood the perfect balance of being there when we needed him and standing back when we needed our personal space to try out the mattresses. His approach made us feel like he truly cared about our satisfaction rather than just trying to make a sale.
But what really impressed up was how Lukas had so much knowledge about all the different types of mattresses and the benefits of each type of material and how they are constructed differently. In fact, Lukas was so good that we actually ended up purchasing the mattress that he originally suggested for us!
