IMI Motorsports Complex — Attraction in Dacono

Well sorry to say I will never return after going there for basically my entire adult life. Went out there on Saturday to help my son fix his four wheeler he was riding. Decided to drive my dune buggy there. I asked the people at the gate if they allowed small cars like my dune buggy on the flat dirt oval I was told yes I asked if my tires were appropriate I was again told yes. I get there help my son fixes four wheeler which luckily was a 10-15 minute fix let him get back out on the course. Get on my older son's 450 tried to make a lap on the pro course it was in worse condition and I've ever seen a track let alone a vacant lot or field. So I decided to take my dune buggy and make a few laps on the flat track when I got there there was a couple of cars small cars mind you just larger than go-kart size so I talked to them make sure that they wouldn't be freaked out if I was on the track with them they said no I thought it would be fun so I ran it for a little while saw someone flagging me over to the entrance so I pulled over and began getting yelled at by who I assume as possibly a owner was never told who they were their name or anything was cussed at and told I was not allowed on the track and was going to pay for the wall if I hit it. I can understand if the car was too large for the track too powerful etc. But to be yelled at and cussed at for doing something that I was told I could do does not sit well with me. The gentleman that told me I was not allowed on that track was the most disrespectful person I have ever met in my 50 years on this planet. So I went through my checkbook this weekend totaled up just over $4,000 my family spent there last year and decided to not only will they never receive my money again I will tell anybody I know not to give them money and hopefully people like that will learn to treat people a little bit better. If I would have pulled off and he would have simply told me he could not allow that that's one thing but the way he spoke to me no one should ever be talked to like that for doing something they were told they could do. You are correct I have never seen a dune buggy there. But about 25 years ago when I race midget's that are about the same size just 3 times the power I had asked if I could use the track for testing on a few engine builds and engine tunes and was told that was fine and did it...

From the moment I walked in the door the staff was very rude the first guy I said hi to said nothing back give us no instructions on what we're supposed to do. when figuring out how the races work and asking he told me that I read it wrong seeming that I was the stupid one then once he finally explained it to me I realize that to ride the shifter karts the ones that I really wanted to do I would have had to spend $500 that day the train on all the other karts I decided to go through with it and train on the karts on the very first run the guy said we were going too slow we weren't putting enough into it so we weren't certified to go on to the faster cards the next run he said I did everything right except for when I was pulling into the pit stop I was going a little too fast so I still could not ride the other karts part of me thinks he didn't want to pull out the faster Karts he was also very rude and I had already spebt alit of money. and in between our car runs he let his buddy raise his car for free when we were here paying money I was taking my dad for Father's Day and we couldn't have near as much fun as we would like to we never went off the track we handle the karts just fine and we just wanted to raise the faster karts I don't see what the problem was with racing the faster karts we were racing just fine I am usually not one to post reviews but this had torqued me off also all of their equipment was way outdated all of their suits were burnt they had no gloves that matched their helmets were old their socks were dirty and the facility was dirty honestly if you guys want to go go kart racing never go to this place it is a total rip off I would recommend going to unser racing or speed Raceway I've been to both it is a great race experience I will never go back to this place and I recommend you...
