Nearest camp is at Hawk Mountain roughly .5 miles south on the AT. This is the first parking area though where vehicles can be left after the lot just north of Springer Mountain. Great place to leave a car if you want to do the first stretch of the AT. The Mountain access roads can be a bit rough getting here.
