Crawford Memorial Park — Attraction in Dallas

A beautiful, spacious park. But I wish the City of Dallas re-imagine the parking space. It is a large community-based, and on a perfect day like today, I counted 100 interested visitors trying to park inside a 25 space area. It was a Wednesday afternoon, and cannot imagine a weekend afternoon!

First, I would suggest to the counsil, for safety reasons, parking parallel on the street is dangerous to the community, for the visitors, specially with children opening doors on the outer street. Remember, not everyone has common sense, and children do not have the sense of danger when opening the left door to the passing street. Secondly, smartness would be to pave along the long side a parking area to accomodate the visitors.

Very clean, very nice, very respectable. I just wish part of our family that lives in Mesquite did not have to pay an extra out of town fee. If they live in immediate surrounding areas they should just pay regular admission price. They do shop and contribute to the Pleasant Grove/Dallas area so they do help in paying taxes.
