There's a very dangerous drop off at the top of the tall slide/obstacle course where a child could fall to their death if they land on their head. The open area at the top is designed for older children to reach out & grab the pole & slide down the pole, but if a small child isn't able to reach the pole, they could easily fall several feet! It looks to be about 10 feet high. I called 311 on 11/13/19 and reported it. They called me back 11/19/19 and said the Parks & Recreation Department will contact me soon.

The park is pretty small & doesn't have any shade (they are building a shade structure this summer) but we love doing the trail that leads to the creek! I suggest wearing good hiking/water shoes like chacos or tevas if you are going to explore the creek. I wish they had restrooms - that's always a bit tricky with little ones.

Good park with nearby benches, basketball, tennis, trails and playground. Playground is great but slide is very tall and not very deep, easy to fall over if not careful. There is also a smaller, much older playground on the other side of the park.

Overall, the park was a beautiful and enjoyable place to visit. The serene atmosphere and well-maintained surroundings made it a delightful experience. However, the presence of a towel in the kids area seemed out of place and left me wondering about its purpose or...
