Nestled in a very quiet wooded area. Not easy to find due to lack of signage en route but Google maps does it's job. Due to lack of popularity of this place, it's not very crowded. Once you arrive at the parking area, the fall is about a minute down from there. Porta potty is there at the parking area. Just one, but it was the cleanest I've ever seen. It took my whole family by surprise. While hiking towards falls and before the falls there is small picnic area with about 3-4 picnic benches. As usual you have to take out your trash. Talking about trash, it was overflowing at the time. No swimming allowed but you can we your feet. Water was not that clean and was not a lot of water falls. This year has been the first though. We hiked around the falls. It is on the left side of you are interested. It's rugged but doable. If hiking above the falls you will encounter more cascades and it is beautiful too. You can also hike with the flow and although we didn't get a chance, I believe it leads to where it merges in to the reservoir. Cell service is okay. We were able to talk but video calls were not great. Overall we enjoyed our trip here and did not encounter pesky bugs.

This had to be the most rewarding falls every. Went the day after a serious rain storm and the flow was amazing. It's a really small easy hike on wide dirt path that leads right up to the falls . Takes only 10 mins of walking. , however there are rocks and tree roots everywhere but still easy . Theres 3 paths that all merge from the parking lot. I recommend taking the path where the open gate is there's less rocks there and not so steep. Bring a walking stick if your use to having one . Bring water as the hike back is short but up a small hill . There are picnic tables and large flat rocks that you can sit on and rest on. There's no bathrooms but plenty of private spots to use.

I would have given this place a 5 star rating had it not been for the lack of signage & trail markings. It’s a beautiful place, parking lot is just a short walk from the gorgeous falls...just follow the sound. There are 2 nice large picnic tables at the falls. Reviews said to hike up river above the falls. Nothing was marked & ground was covered with wet leaves but we followed right up along the water and it was a beautiful walk. So much more to see, there were other cascades, water rushing over boulders, etc. Spring thaw is always a good time to be near waterfalls.
