Douglas Lake — Attraction in Dandridge

Amazing scenic views even from the benches that they had right next to the lake. We did not get to stay too long but we did enjoy watching the boats & jetskis passing through right in front of us while everyone else is enjoying being in the water or cooking something really good. Grew up going to Douglas Lake so of course it's my favorite. Great fishing, great for swimming and other water sports. Lots of quiet coves if you don't want open water. Caught a 19 inch saug-eye using a deep water lure and trolling with the boat moving fast. What a fluke. There's also crappy and bass. Good eating fish....
