I recently had the exhilarating experience of skydiving with East Tennessee Skydiving, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! My best friend and I decided to make the jump extra special by dressing up as superheroes, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Not only did we feel like we were soaring through the skies with superhuman abilities, but the entire experience was nothing short of phenomenal.

From the moment we arrived, the instructors Bill and Carter were welcoming, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring that safety was always the top priority. Their enthusiasm and confidence put us at ease, allowing us to focus on the thrill of the jump rather than any lingering nerves.

We chose to embark on the sunset jump, and it was undoubtedly the right call. As we ascended to altitude, the breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains were absolutely stunning, creating a picturesque backdrop for our adventure. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while free-falling was simply magical—a moment that will stay with me forever.

The exhilarating rush of jumping out of the plane, combined with the stunning scenery, made for an unforgettable experience. Floating through the sky, surrounded by vibrant hues of orange and pink, felt like we were flying through a painting. It was a surreal and liberating feeling, and I can’t stress enough how incredible it is to experience the world from that perspective.

Friendly and energetic staff that is very detail oriented. Was a gift for my wifes 50th birthday and she (and my son) had an amazing time. Facility is very nicely done. Explanations were very thorough and they give you many opportunities to change your mind along the way. If you are looking for a tandem jumping experience, I highly recommend this location. Tandem jumpers/instructors were very thorough in safety checks and were genuinely fun people to have this experience with. I stayed on the ground, these comments are unfiltered from my wife and sons reactions and statements both before and after their experience. The observations areas for those who stay on the ground are very well kept, clean and in a beautiful setting in the country making for a pleasant spectator experience as well. Thank you for such a well thought out experience for first time jumpers. Will post pictures when they come in, note to spectators, taking pictures as an amateur photographer are not as easy as you might think so I also recommend the picture / video package especially if you may not plan to repeat this experience. Since we are still in a strange transitional stage of the pandemic, I feel compelled to add that this business is conscious of the concerns of Covid and is taking appropriate measures to provide a safe environment in this aspect. Check with them by phone if you have any concerns about Covid concerns, they are very good at providing any information to questions you may have and this issue changes almost daily now so it is best to check before making any assumptions. My husband surprised me with skydiving for my birthday something I have always wanted to do. We live in Kentucky, but he knew Eastern Tennessee would have a beautiful view from the sky. We showed up early and they took us right in. I felt very confident after reviewing the video and listening to my instructor Carter give instructions. It was time to suit up and harness up. My husband ordered the video and photo package Carter did an amazing job capturing every moment of my experience. Once in the plane Carter my instructor continuously went over each detail of our jump which made me very comfortable. Carter also made sure to tell me what beautiful sites their was to see from the air. Once we were ready to go he made sure we were secure and made sure I was comfortable. It was time to jump and with it being my first time I didn’t know what to expect. The free fall was my favorite part it literally felt like we was floating. My instructor gave me a tap to let me know I could let my arms out and another tap when it was time to pull the chute. He made sure to face me towards the Smokey MTNS and pointed out the bald eagles below us. At one point my instructor let me take control of the chute what an amazing experience.
