The Junction ranger station is about halfway up the mountain. There are a few parking spots here that are marked 15 minute parking. But the ranger at the entrance says we can park here. It is a popular rest spots for the bikers. From here, the hike up to the mountain is 2.1 mile but with steep climb of about 2000 foot in elevation.
