Oak Hill Park — Attraction in Danville

Overall park is nice, could use more parking tho, and the spaces aren't great for bigger SUVs, great parent and picnic shade, not so great for playground, but later in the day it cooled and the tree shade began to move across the playground, nice water feature, new play structures, nice walking path, today we saw a ton of people coming for prom pics all dressed up at 4pm, pretty neat to see, mostly nice people, mostly nice dogs, nice bathrooms and drinking fountain about 50 feet I think from playground, well kept and seems safe, but I went in with them anyways, they were inside a newer club house of sorts where there was a Hawaiian themed party, the two events had people parking quite a ways up the hill and on the main road, and on the other side too, but when just park goers, easy parking and some shade for about 10 spots I think too,...

I held my wedding here at Oak Hill Park in the ballroom overlooking the pond and it was such a fantastic experience. Working with the staff starting with Ian their manager, Tim and Lillian their coordinators was totally fantastic. They were always very responsive and helpful by assisting us with meetings to figure out logistics ahead of time. Todd the on-site staff member was incredible the day of by setting up all the chairs on the deck and then moving them back into the ballroom around the tables. He went above and beyond by helping us clean up at the end of the event, which was totally unexpected, but completely welcomed. OAKHILL PARK is the site of the ALL WARS MEMORIAL & gets a FIVE STAR RATING in my book! This is a beautiful Park & Memorial in the East Bay which should be visited by everyone.
