drove past tall pines’ sign one day and thought “i want my beef from a farm!” so i googled them, loved what i read, and placed an order for 5 items. i’ve never ordered from a farm before so i didn’t know what to expect but picking up a few days later was easy and really lovely! rachel and kali greeted me warmly, we had a nice little chat, and i went home with what turned out to be THE BEST BEEF I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. because i knew where it had come from, i took such care in preparing my meal, expecting i would taste some difference between this version and the version i usually make with beef from giant eagle, but i had no idea just how much better it could be. so now i’m a customer for good! i’ve been wanting to learn how to cook better and this may just be the ticket — looking forward to trying the lamb and other cuts next. thank you...

And then I went back for some lamb and ground beef.
And now I am hooked.
I mean, how can you NOT be? Grass fed and finished beef and lamb. Near my house, which means not only is it easy to pick up, but it means the land is remaining the land and not houses. And land is gorgeous.
Like... what's not to like here? Add in Rachel and the rest of the Wagoners (who I have yet to meet) and this is the way we all ought to be living. Earth-conscious, yummy. Nearby. Run by kind...
