Beach Estate — Attraction in Dauphin Island

I enjoyed my stay because I was by the ocean not because of the house. Was disturbed when I got there cause of the water buges in the house. I was told that was a normal thing by the ocean. Their was 4 or 5 dead on the floors around the house. Seen a live one later in the week in the kitchen. You would think they would have picked them up. We called and they said they would come down and never did. The blinds were torn up and the only trash can we had had a huge hole in the side. Beside the house was a fence that was down and under the sand so it had been messed up for a long time. Parts of the rusted fence were sticking out of the sand and could cause someone to get hurt if they step on them. Oh and none of the lights on the porch worked. There also was an old grill under the house on its side all rusted up. Think they should keep up with there...

I rented this place for my beach wedding! It was perfect for the week! There are a lot of stairs if the elevator isn’t working but with the elevator it was easy getting our luggage, food and drinks inside. The wedding party and my parents stayed at the beach house and we were able to comfortably host all our guests. It was great to have the beach and pool available right in our backyard! The views from every room were amazing. All the appliances worked and we didn’t see a single bug inside the house! I would definitely stay here again with a large group! Well worth the money. This house is beautiful and feels like home! The views are great,both the bay and Gulf. Nice and quiet. Just wish there was aTVGuide for channels.
