Its nice to get out into nature while still in the city as long as you don’t require a map. The map provided at the trailhead is useless. I’m a retired infantry soldier and BSA scout master. Land navigation isn’t foreign to me. It’s a small map with two loops but nothing on the map makes it’s use simple. If you needed to call emergency services you better hope that you get a great dispatcher because the map won’t help. BE PREPARED TO CROSS TREES AS LARGE AS TWO FEET IN DIAMETER LAYING ACROSS THE TRAILS.

A beautifully, privately owned park open to the public, Schuetzen has a lot of character with trails that have varied terrain, verticality, and tranquility. Really nice place to trail run with laps and some hill climbs.

Wonderful park but very small. Recent music event very sweet. Nice band singing 80s songs in German and drinking songs. Turned pop songs into polkas.

I decided to host my first event (Wubbz. Love. And Grub.) And it was beyond perfect!!! The park and facilities were immaculate. The staff was so helpful and kind. The park is truly beautiful; plenty shade and a wonderland of trails and natural beauty. Big shout out to Kory couldn't have done this with out you and we cant wait to do it again. Solid 13/10...

Small, quaint, lovely park for walk with historic touch. Guardrails for steep areas. The recent derecho felled many trees. Volunteers have worked hard to clear trails. Have seen some great birds during migration....
