Arbuckle Mountains

These people where very rude and unprofessional. I called days ahead to ask if I was aloud to take my golf cart because I was bringing my 65 year old mother who couldn’t walk long distances with me. I was told by the office no golf carts were aloud but they reassured me that the falls were very accessible from all level parking. When we got there the level one vip was the only parking near the water all others are on top of a very step hill. I drove to the top called the office to ask if I would be able to drop off my mother and unload our supply, she said “ yes that’s fine as long as you don’t park there.” I start driving to level one and the staff member Darryl jumps in front of my truck and starts barking orders aggressively yelling that I couldn’t be there and to move my truck. my sister told him we were given permission from the front office yet he was not willing to listen and when my sister opened the door for my mom to get out he started yelling at my mom to get back in the truck that she could ride the bus. These buses were being overfilled to the point people were standing, not one time where they being sanitized after use. I go to a 15 minute parking area where the park manager is called while I am waiting a young staff member asked me to park a certain direction well a police of Davis vehicle pulls with his bull horn saying it is a parallel parking area until the worker walks up to his truck to let him know she directed me. Park manager bill shows up and We tell him about his rude traffic staff Daryl and he apologized for a miss communication and said if they allowed favoritos for one person everyone would want it. Later that day I saw bill in his mule atv helping someone who couldn’t walk much either hmmm..only difference is we were not white. Thank you manager bill and Daryl for this very memorable welcoming trip to Oklahoma and turner falls.I believe your staff needs better training but then again with a boss like that it’s probably as best as it gets.
