Title: A Day Held Hostage at Daniel Park!
ā
Oh, the enthralling possibility of spending a day amidst nature and engaging in delightful games; Daniel Park seemed like the place where one's dreams could take flight. Alas, the experience turned out to be an aerial disaster.
Let's begin with the entrance fee. It is baffling that a public park, meant to serve as an oasis for all, would demand such a hefty fee at the gates. Paying for parks isnāt unheard of, but the audaciousness of the charge at Daniel Park is unparalleled.
One would expect that such a fee would grant certain liberties, but it's as if the entrance ticket has invisible shackles attached to it. Once you step into Daniel Park, forget about the idea of leaving for any reason and re-entering. The policy of no re-entry feels like an oppressive decree from days of yore.
Now, the fact that this park hosts multiple games at different hours is a tantalizing proposition for families. We all yearn for a day of games and laughter. But, if you have been entrapped by the ironclad gates of Daniel Park, you are in for a rude awakening. With no re-entry, families are essentially imprisoned within the park for hours. Forget about the option of taking a break, eating out or even just getting something from the car. Youāre in Daniel Park now and thereās no escape.
This policy hits families particularly hard. Imagine corralling children for hours with no option for a change of scene. Tempers flare and energy depletes; what was meant to be a joyous day morphs into a test of endurance.
Moreover, the absence of any affordable food options within the park makes the no re-entry policy even more egregious. Itās as if Daniel Park has decided to launch a dual assault on your wallet and your sanity.
A park is supposed to be a haven, a respite from the clamor of daily life, not a dictatorial regime where you are stripped of basic freedoms.
Daniel Park, your greenery may be lush, but your policies are barren of logic and empathy.
In conclusion, for those considering a leisurely day at Daniel Park, be forewarned. Your day might just metamorphose into a test of wills. Not a battle against the elements, but against bewildering policies that shackle the very spirit parks are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBaseball tournament at your park this last weekend ... I get a gate fee but a re-entry fee?? Wrist bands are cheap. Your park rule of ONLY 32 ounces of water PER player ... it was 95 degrees this weekend. 32 ounces of water didn't last any of our boys through 2 innings. We had water provided that was at best ... room temp. No coolers allowed for ice. Ridiculous.
I am no stranger to tournaments. We've NEVER had to pay re-entry. I understand needing to profit ... think about your players & parents. Think about a mom with a younger sibling going to the car to cool off & not having to worry about paying to get back in ...
Very disappointed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis park is absolutely disgusting! Weāre here in Dayton park for a baseball tournament. Weāre coming from Valley Ranch and they are charging $5 PER PERSON. Not even per car like EVERY OTHER PARK HAS DONE. We also canāt bring in our coolers. Then to top it off we canāt leave to our cars, if we do, we have to pay again to enter. This is unbelievable! Our first game was at 9am and we donāt play again until 3pm! These kids need to eat, hydrate and rest. This is...
