Trail starts out on a rocky road width trail. Roaring Creek on the left, you can here it but not many spots to see it. Trail bares to the right where another creek comes in to Roaring Creek. Looks like a good summer swimming spot at the convergence. Trail parallels the ( unknown name) creek that has a nice whitewater scenic Tennessee flow.Cumberland trail splits to the right, passes Hells Kitchen turn off and and a vigorish uphill to the top of the mountain. Excellent overlook at the top. Trail keeps going on top of mountain. See Cumberland trail Roaring Creek section for more info. This hike up to the turn off is rocky but flat. Suitable for the " less serious" hikers out there.

Really cool little trail with a creek and waterfall. Not at all a hiker so this was a perfect “beginner style” trail to explore and easy to get in and out. Perfect place to just submerse yourself in nature, have some quiet time, have a little picnic lunch or jump in for a nice swim. I once lived just down the road from the trail and loved to visit whenever I...

Quick hike to Hell's kitchen. Lots of wildflowers alongside the trail including Trillium luteum. The trail up to the top is steep, narrow, and lined with healthy poison ivy stands. The boulders on top (Hell's Kitchen) are worth the hike. Climb up on one of the rock outcrops for a break before hiking back. The trail posted at the kiosk is not the trail to...
