Read moreI have been taking my dog to the park there more so to the area with the pond because for the last 2 years when we go there my dog will run along the pond and jump in and wait and after a few minutes a otter pops up and loves to play with her..if other dogs are around she stays back till she sees the opportunity to jump out and play with my dog sissy..it is so awesome..I wouldn't suggest that you take your dog to play with her just assuming she will in fact play with your dog because she did go after a little Chihuahua in a mean way..our encounter happened by accident and it did scare me to death at first but as I ran to get my dog back I realized they were playing and ever since they have been best friends..I'm going down tomorrow 4/14/18 and I hope she made it through winter cause that was so amazing..she finally came up to me and let me pet her at the end of summer last year and I havent been back since..fingers crossed that she made it..I...

The kid's garden area has a chlorinated creek which is perfect for smaller kids that aren't comfortable with splash pads, as well as cave like structures with water spraying down for kids to play in the water. There's a huge sand table that is covered so it's shaded with an additional table that is lower to the ground for your wee ones. They have a sensory garden where children are encouraged to smell, taste, see etc various different plants as well as a number of other plant covered structures for kids to explore. My kids absolutely love it. They also frequently have children's programs and scavenger hunts.
