Visited Rock Springs Nature Center with grandchildren fir the Monarch Madness butterfly exposition. The grandchildren had a great time. There was a nice turnout. The participants seemed to have fun. The Monarch Madness had a variety of safe, kid-friendly activities which provided educational opportunities. The activities included: bingo, yoga, arts & crafts, butterfly hunt, obstacles and virtual reality. The events were staffed by volunteers who were friendly and engaged with the children. The event had its downsides. The organization of the centers created some unnecessarily long lines and bottlenecks. The operators if the VR station moved too slowly or simple played with the system while the children waited. The Center itself had staff who were oblivious to what was taking place outside and offered little help. However, the hands on helpers were great. We hope to return next year.

Wow! So many great things to do here. They have quite a few trails including a paved trail bike's, wheelchairs, and walkers. They also have a couple nature trails that go around the park. We have attended a few of the educational events here and have loved every single one. They have homeschooling sessions, history classes, Maple Syrup classes and much much more. We try to attend as many things as we can. The views are amazing and so peaceful in the wooded areas. There are ponds to Canoe, a park for the kids, and a picnic area.

One of the most gorgeous relaxing places a person can go. The perfect place to go and unwind. I love the fact the trails stretch for miles. My favorite place to jog and enjoy nature.

One of my favorite places. Which is why we chose to get married in the Pines, where he proposed. My only suggestion to future weddings is to rope the whole area off, because conservation does not place "reserved" labels for the Pines and the adults that were with the children groups that day completely disregarded our personal signs and decorations and allowed children to run through our decorations and even our pavilion, despite my vocalized displeasure. Thankfully it rained like crazy and they all left about a half hr before our scheduled nuptials (though I was 20 minutes late in getting ready due to all of the...
