Sunshine Hollow Weddings — Attraction in Decatur

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful a place this is. My wife and I got married here back in May. The landacape is gorgeous and full of a wide variety of plants/flowers to create a beautiful springtime wonderland. Plenty of parking for wedding guests and very accessible pathways for young and old. The catering hall is beautiful decorated and comfortable when the temperature rises. To top it all, the venue owner Dave is by far one of the nicest people I have ever worked with. My wife and I had to hurry through putting our wedding together and he was very accomodating and gracious to us. The food catered here is exceptional and all of it is homemade/family recipes. Dave also does the wedding cakes and I was surprised at how great his cake baking skills were. It looked beautiful and was one of the most delicious cakes I can remember trying. The only difficult part of the place is finding it with gps since it is in the country and you take several county roads before arriving but it allows for peace and quiet during the ceremony. I had my wedding at Gardens of Sunshine Hollow this summer and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. Dave, the owner, worked so hard to make our day exactly what we wanted and was so kind. The grounds are absolutely beautiful; my guests were amazed by everything and gave me so many compliments! I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a venue! The reception hall is very nice and keeps cool in the summer.
