Narrow Escape Granbury — Attraction in DeCordova

We chose Narrow Escape in Granbury to complete our double birthday weekend celebration! Our group of nine included ages from 13 to 54! This was a great opportunity for all of us to interact and collaborate together to solve the puzzles necessary to complete the escape! Our escape room was the Speak Easy, which we understand will be replaced soon, and was rated as a medium challenge. Each puzzle completed opened a lock and released a new clue. The difficulty level was perfect to challenge us without frustration and the 60 minute allotted time was perfect. We completed our escape in about 50 minutes. We all traveled from either Mineral Wells or Stephenville. While there are other escape challenge facilities in the metroplex, this drive was stress free and the location was easy to find. We are already planning our next visit!

My wife has a cold and I needed to get the kiddos out of the house. This was a whim, a random chance chosen by searching for things to do near me and then asking the kids what sounds most interesting. I wanted to dig for fossils.

I made the purchase online and appreciated the veteran’s discount. We made the drive and arrived 20 minutes early, but they were ready for us anyway. I showed my veteran ID from the VA, signed a waiver and we started our experience. An hour later, 2 teenage girls (usually moody) and an 8 year old boy were laughing, relieved and reveling in victory with me. It was kind of amazing.

I STRONGLY recommend this place for families. We solved ours with 2 minutes and 30 seconds to spare. Being that close to failing made it all the sweeter.

My sister flew in from Las Vegas for Thanksgiving and she and I had a great time at the Overdrive Arcade video-game themed escape room at Narrow Escape in Granbury. This was our third escape room at Narrow Escape and we had a great time with all three escape room adventures. Erin was our game master and was excellent and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. The video game-themed challenges were really innovative and we are incredibly impressed that a company that as far as we know is not a corporate chain came up with the most brilliant video game-themed challenges.
