Ask permission prior to going on hike!!!
Prior to going we read reviews and how it said there were thieves in the area breaking into the cars and taking whatever. Luckily, we didnāt have that problem but we did take valuables out of the vehicle and left the door unlock. (No point of paying for broken window). From the car to the actual hike was about 15m for us. Starting the journey to Ague Cove. There is a path along the left side of the fence (when facing fence) that will not mistakenly take you all the way to your destination!! It rained the night prior/ earlier that day so it was muddy and wet!! Let me tell you, ITS ALL DOWN HILL ON THE WAY IN. With that being said, be careful because you can slip and fall with ease and NO hesitation (believe me š)⦠The Hike down was maybe 10-15m ish. As you get closer to the bottom, the waves get louder and louder!!! It gets more exciting!!! Ague Cove. Peeking in the distance behind the trees, you see (in simplest terms) water and rocks lol. Itās like a private beach!!! Multiple shades of blue yet clear water and coral poking out here and there!!! When we went, the water was really rough!!! It was knocking us around like a bully!!! BRING GOGGLES OR SOMETHING TO LOOK UNDER WATER!!! The fish that sound you are gorgeous.. The rainbow fish was by the dozen!!! Great photo area, great chill/relax area, great get away!!! I brought snacks and water so it was a great moment for me lol. Headed out⦠After almost sliding off the side of the mountain and getting bullied by the waves, it was time to head UP. Headed up the mountain, making a few stops along the way, slipping on red dirt, fighting with Mother Nature and some of her friends, we finally made it to the top after 17m. So it wasnāt that bad I reckon but take baby steps on the Way up and you will thank me!! SERIOUSLY⦠We were greeted by the owners when we got done. Nice couple!!!

I wouldn't bring my kids on this one.
Roughly 3mi round trip. The first half is a paved road leading to a small wood and tin structure. To the left of that structure the trail continues. There are orange markers on trees and a couple ropes for assistance.
Depending on weather conditions the trail might be a muddy or dry. As you continue the decending path there are trees to hold on to.
You'll know you're there because it'll look like you're at the top of a stairway overlooking the Cove.
Be safe, be mindful and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat I like about Ague Cove is the feeling of being away from everything. I like the slightly steep terrain as you hike down to the cove and once you are there you get this feeling of being in an private secluded cove all to yourself. I would not recommend taking young children on this hike to the cove and there are no Sandy beaches down there at the bottom of the cove. Bring snorkeling gear if you want, you could see some interesting views and marine life in the water or just hangout and work on...
