A Little Slice of Grape Heaven!

As a seasoned grandpa with a taste for the finer things in life (lol)—like wine and a good nap—I can honestly say The Cove Winery hit all the right notes. First off, the view is like something straight out of a painting. The lake view out in the distance made me feel like I should be in a commercial, raising a glass and saying something profound like, "This is living."

Speaking of wine, WOW! The reds? Smooth as Sinatra’s voice. The whites? Crisp and refreshing, like stepping outside after a summer storm. I may have accidentally tried one too many, but hey, who's counting when you're at a winery, right?

The staff? Absolutely top-notch. Friendly folks who seem to know their grapes like I know my TV channels. They made me feel like I was part of their wine family, even if I was just some old guy pretending to understand "notes of oak" and "hints of berry."

If you’re looking for a spot to unwind, sip on some great wine, and maybe daydream about moving to the countryside, The Cove Winery is it. Just make sure you bring someone to drive you home... speaking from experience here!

Cheers, One Happy...

Walked to the covered bar and had immediate and friendly service, had Peach wine slushie which was very good and they have snacks, too!Amazing how many people were already watching the live entertainment lakeside.tables/chairs in bar area and on the other side was cornhole games and more seating, also lakeside. Looks small from pics but has room for more people and feels spread out when when u r there. Most importantly, they grow their own grapes and make their own wine(so I am told). Not a guarantee when visiting a winery anymore, so I am impressed but more disappointed since I was not able to taste their wine. The only downside is they only have a sandy/rocky beach to beach ur watercraft into. No dock-they're only allowed a personal dock and it is wrapped in yellow tape that says you can't use it by order of Army Corps of Engineers or the Federal gov't. Since we didn't want to beach our deep-V boat,(not a problem if u r on jet skis or have a pontoon boat)we drove instead and plan to go back before the end of...

Drove over the bridge on my bike, noticed the crowd and stopped to check it out. I'm not much of a wine drinker but the sangria was quite palatable on a hot summer afternoon. The crowd was lively and welcoming as were the bartenders. Boats and personal watercraft were pulled up on the beach. Live music filled the air. Wow for a moment I felt as if I was back down south spending a hot summer day on the beach. Stop by and check it out. Was added to my starred places;)
