I have been working with Integrated Store Systems (ISS) for 25 + years. We have used their Point-of-Sale/Inventory control (POS/IC) software and hardware systems, in three different business that I have owned over that period of time.
Our businesses are in the convenience store, bar/restaurant, and general retail areas. ISS was fantastic to work with through the entire sales, implementation and support cycles, helping to insure that our requirements were fully communicated to them, so that they could propose the best solutions to meet our business requirements. ISS also built and sold us cost-effective, custom configured POS hardware solutions to complement their POS/IC software products.
If I was to choose one area that was helped us the most, it is their implementation and support services. Their implementation and support team has great in-depth industry expertise working in retail and hospitality companies. That industry experience helped us to create and implement new business processes for our companies around the POS/IC Systems that we purchased from ISS, resulting in increased productivity and cost savings for our company.
We estimate the cost savings and productivity resulted in project pay-back periods of 12-16 months after implementing the POS/IC systems in our companies.
Another strength of ISS is that their support staff is always available. Our busiest times in our convenience stores is summer holiday weekends. If we ever had had a problem on summer holidays, they have always responded quickly to resolve our issues.

We were in a growth mode and were needing a upgrade or replacement of our outdated P.O.S system. I was extremely pleased with the system that was offered and the price. I also appreciated the support, service and training that was offered. My second experience was with a high volume supermarket with 20 registers and support system. Our store had a catastrophic failure of our operating system. We were faced with the critical replacement of a system that was severely damaged beyond repair by a lightening strike.The damage resulted in the closure of our store and subsequent loss of sales. I immediately reached out to this company and requested their assistance. They put their entire staff on the task of finding a replacement system, expediting the installation, the training of over 150 employees and the support to help us through the transition. I reached out to them after finding them at the National Restaurant Association Trade Show in Chicago in May 2024; ISS is a dealer for Pixel Point, which we have used since 2015. We were still on the original Pixel Point version we purchased in 2015 with another company from Montana. The local Montana company was not offering as much support as we needed and our systems (servers and terminals) were slowly dying. ISS was able to provide information and a quote (which was fair & reasonable in terms of buying new servers, POS stations, and receipt printers for three (3) locations); and schedule us for install the first week of August 2024.
ISS spent a week in Montana between Bozeman, Belgrade, and Billings installing and setting us up. Thankfully training wasn't too bad since we updated to the current version of Pixel Point. The transition to ISS has been one of the best decisions we have made regarding a POS system; the support is outstanding. I re-read some of the previous reviews (some that are from 6 years ago) and agree that the staff doesn't talk down to you.
