Operating continuously since 1883, this winery is a small gem that offers tastings and a lovely outdoor area that caters to everyone, including families. We stopped by while in Del Rio and partook of the tastings and had a great time. Our hostess was gracious and knowledgeable, and we were joined by a wonderful couple who also just heard about the place and stopped by. It's in the middle of a neighborhood, so parking is limited but steadily available. There are a small number of seats inside and more seating outside. Need to get your own water or side so you can wash the taste from one wine to another. Ended up getting the Port because of taste and more “body” . For those on the sweet side the red and moscato will suit taste. Amongst enjoying wine we also enjoyed the history of the place....
