First review: Very narrow bridge so cross slowly with your mirrors folded. View on the bridge is amazing. Be prepared to have dollar change with you because as you can see in the picture, no ezpass, cash toll collected by employee who stands between two lanes. 😀 2nd review: I crossed this bridge 2nd time on 4th of July, 2019 and had a bad experience. On the bridge, before toll collector, three volunteers were wearing same color clothing as toll collector and standing in line very close to bridge, I thought they are toll collectors so gave one dollar toll and moved on. At the starting of the bridge, saw miserable lady standing so I thought I gave toll already so kept driving passed her and next thing is, she started screaming loudly this is a toll bridge, like I was going to run off for $1.00 toll, I stopped and told her that I gave toll to one of the gentleman already, she says those are volunteers like I knew. These volunteers were wearing same vest as toll collector and no sign of name of their charity. Her attitude was disgusting and unprofessional. We pay $19 toll on verrazano bridge in NYC sometimes twice a day so $1.00 toll is not an end of the world for us. This senior citizen lady needs a serious attitude adjustment and needs to come out from cocoon of small town world. It was a genuine mistake and never seen volunteers standing so close to toll booth and never seen toll collector collecting toll out in open. This bridge needs Ezpass toll collection very soon so employee like her do not spread misery on an Independence day.

One of Americas Last Private Toll Bridges! The Team that runs it , Veterans and family are friendly and hilarious. The view is beautiful any time of day but gorgeous in the morning. We paid $20 for a Big Book of tickets. It cost $1 to cross the bridge and you must pay the troll! Cash Cash Cash! The booklet is best way to go if your gonna cross a bunch so you always have the tickets in your truck/car, cuz I don't always have cash. I'll try to get some more shots next time. We love crossing this way!
