Southern States - Waco — Attraction in Dellview

The most unfriendly, rude, couldn't care less people I have encountered since the last time I was forced to purchase something there! I only go there as a very last resort and unfortunately I was forced because everyone else was out of the product I needed. The sales/counter people never speak when you enter, even if you speak first. They Never, Ever, thank you for shopping in the store even when you spend a considerable amount of money. Frankly, I don't understand how they stay in business. I rarely see many cars in the parking lot when I pass by. I'm guessing they must have some large farm contracts that allow them to continue to operate. I have lived in this area for 20 years now and I have never been treated with any kindness or gratitude. Upon arrival there was 1 person that spoke. The rest stood in disbelief as if they've never seen a black person deliver products. Was asked if I had a pallet jack, and I do not. Was then informed of a dock in the rear of facility. Not good for a rookie; nice challenge for a vet. Cars and other things in the way but it's a small facility.. never the less once over the bs I was unloaded and on my way to my next drop. No worries. FYI Don’t bother coming before 5:00 unless you are 30mins before hand; maybe @4:30pm they’re still open?... I’ve tried 4 times after work b/c I rarely get off from my job early, these guys always close the doors ridiculously early... Ignore their listed hours.
