Point Roberts Marina Resort — Attraction in Delta

I just moved my boat here from Captains Cove Ladner. I had no choice. Captain's Cove marina is currently under going dredging and dock replacement. Unfortunately, they have opted for a Cadillac marina instead of a more affordable VW marina. By moving to Point Roberts I have saved myself $1700 CDN over last year at Captain's cove. If I had stayed at Captain's Cove it would have cost me $10,000 more than what I have paid for this year at Point Roberts, and more than that next year. Point Roberts Marina is well laid out, easy to get to, tons of amenities, and very friendly from what I have seen so far. Customs clearance is quick and easy. Beautiful marina, made more wonderful by the tons of Orcas living and playing within a few miles. Our approach was wonderful. Marina is well protected and tranquil. Only thing that would have been nicer is if the gas pumps were open a bit later. They close at 4:30, and we arrived shortly after just for dinner. We had plenty of fuel, but would have liked to top off the tanks being we were right there. But beautiful trip and marina. Highly recommend. Food at the Breakwaters...

We have attempted to eat here multiple times, they are always out of something, bread, blueberries etc. This time they had no soup until 330, yes soup, their reason was it was a brunch menu... Three tables including ours were looking forward to soup. If you want to be disappointed in the length of time the food takes and the chance they won't have what you want, they try them.
