Luna Rossa Winery — Attraction in Deming

While camping at City of Rocks State Park we drove into Deming to restock, refuel and wander around. Luna Rossa vineyard was our Harvest Host for the night. We enjoyed their 2 sweet girls who poured us 5 free wine tastings. They have an extensive menu of full range of local wine selections and a few beer options. RV overnight parking was on a level, gravel lot with a 180⁰ view of nicely tended grape vines. I went to the winery, in Deming, to learn more about Luna Rosa's wine. The wine was fine but the staff in the tasting room was terrible. I knew more about wine than the staff did after a cursory google search about wine. To give you an idea of how little they knew, one woman doesn't know what decanting does to wine, after 4+ years of working at a winery. If you drink Luna Rossa, get it from a store.
