Lake Texoma — Attraction in Denison

I love lake Tacoma, I hate that the popular areas you have to pay a fee to get in to swim. The areas are usually clean, sometimes they are disgusting. The few times it was nasty, there was feces all over the bathroom floor, diapers in water and on beach. Usually 3 out of 5 times we have a blast. The other parts of the lake that are more secluded are awesome because no one knows about it. We usually find ourselves at platter more than anything or west...

(Español abajo) Been going since I was a kid. It's big enough to please everyone- you can find a spot with fewer people to enjoy. Or you can find a spot among folks if you want to be social. Boating, fishing, camping, family and pet friendly. I'm always picking up other people's trash when we go. Watch for broken glass, etc. if you're barefooted. We'd walk around and explore when I was growing up. Water isn't as muddy as Dirty Bird. Definitely feels nice on a hot day. The bottom isn't full of rocks, so it's easy to walk on. Scenery is nice. Wild grapes, flowers and weeds! You'll see the occasional snake or deer depending on the season. Of course you'll see dead fish here and there, but nothing that ruins the trip.
