The dog park Is so clean and the people are sooo sweet barely eny poo in the parks and plenty of shade and there is a 3 tear water bowl for big ,littel and sizes for people .But my only 5 complaints are is that the bathrooms are disgusting, and we went to take a walk there were so many mosquitoes they just cleaned on to my poor dog fur and ate Us Alive on some of the off-road trails my third complaint is that there's always always mud so much mud after 2 days after it rain it is dry, my first complaint is that even though the people are sweet on certain days of the week and on Fridays there's almost nobody at the park which I understand but it would be nice to see more people, my sis and lots complaint is that it's kind of a tricky way to get in and out of the park having to navigate around all the other obstacles like people walking or really bad traffic accidents by the area that were you coming from. But this is still one of my favorite dog parks to take oreo my dog to its super nice always most of the time very very clean and I will say that I hundred percent recommended if you're and I would recommend the trails if if you are properly sprayed down with bug spray and have bug bands especially on your cute...
Read moreThere are two sides to this park. On one side, you have the pond/lake with ducks, small playground, covered picnic area with several tables, canoe rentals (not often open), and a bathroom. Up the hill a little is a fountain with benches and uncovered picnic tables.
If you love nature, a visit to this side is a MUST!
You can hike all the way around the pond and through the woods. The first part is paved for anyone who needs accessibility. Then it turns into dirt paths for nature enthusiasts and bike riders When hiking through the woods you'll see all kinds of wildlife and if you go deep enough, you'll find a cave! This is one way you can get to the other side. Or you can take a short drive to another parking lot.
The other side has a larger playground with swings and two fenced in dog play areas. It also has a foosball table, horseshoes, and a new addition of pickleball! This side also contains a bathroom, although it's not always open.
If you want to have some activity time, this side is where you want to go.

Read moreFirst time here, great experience. Nice size lake with a well maintained trail. At first the trail is concrete and turns into dirt but nicely maintained. Apparently there is a cave somewhere but we didn't venture that far. I think there's 7 miles of trails if you do them all but as I said we stayed on the main trail around the lake which I am guessing was about 2-3 miles, I'm just guessing.
You can also fish and dock small non gasoline engines boats here but mainly small Jon boats or kayaks only with electric trolling motors. There's bass, crappie, catfish and trout to be caught. You can take the fish home but need a fishing license. There is a sign with bag limits near the boat ramp.
This is a great place for a nice walk or jog, I believe you can ride bikes here also. I...
