The little arboretum that’s hidden inside the Des Moines Water Works Park. Most of the year, there’s probably not much reason to visit the Arle den Boer, however, when it gets busy during the 1-2 weeks when the various flowering trees bloom. Although most of the varieties are of crabapple trees (instead of cherry blossom), the blooms are still amazing looking.
