Bavarian Haus — Attraction in Deshler Township

I have attended many wedding receptions and benefits at your club and have never had any issues until now. I am now handicap and was unable to use your bathroom efficiently. My wheelchair was “ too wide” to go through the door. Thank goodness we brought my walker, and i was able to use that. I had trouble getting my walker through the door as well. I was told by a gentleman, Roger Teitje, serving drinks that my wheelchair was too wide. It doesn’t matter if my wheelchair is standard size or over wide in size, you should accommodate for all. The handicap stall should have hand rails on both sides, and really should be longer than 6 inches. The law probably only calls for what you have, but handicap people really do need longer and put on both sides. Hopefully you would consider putting the handicap stall closest to the door instead of all the way to the end. The Bavarian Haus is a really nice place to attend events. Difficult people to deal with. Still waiting on the refundable hall deposit and have not received it. Also there was unused alcohol that has not been refunded. Hall is old, dirty, bad lighting and we were told they had coolers to use. Coolers were not working for our event in February. Best of luck trying to get ahold of anyone. The building is in need of an update, facelift, something to catch up to 2018, not the 1980's. Poorly lighted, visible roof water leaking in all over the place. Finally the decouere looks as if it has be there since the it day it opened.The parking lot could also use some...
