A spectacularly beautiful place north of Chelsea MI. Gets my vote for the best nature area in the Washtenaw parks system. A meadow from out of a painting greets you at the parking area. Trails lead over the rolling hillsides past several ponds and eventually to lovely West Lake. Woodlands and meadows are full of flora and fauna if you take the...

UPDATE 9-6-25 The nicest preserve I have ran in by far, in the last year. It is clean, vast amounts of running/walking paths, views of several ponds, lakes and trees .....it is my new favorite preserve to go to. Please try it out. 💯👍

Awesome preserve to walk around in it is very well kept up and beautiful in the summer. I haven't really gone there in the winter. But I would highly suggest it. There is a trail head with a small parking lot that probably could only fit like 5-7 cars max. I would give it a 10 out of 10 for...
