It's a great place to stop for the restroom, stretch, or go for a hike. Not a lot of people know that it's a loop trail. Counter clock wise is the best. You will have to cross the street near the entrance to continue. There is a secret Sequoia tree. It's the Sawed Sequoia tree. It was cut halfway and was abandon by who ever cut it. If you looked on the back of the tree, there is one eye. Maybe the eye was crying when the person was cutting it and spook him away. The parking area had an area outlined for rv parking that could accommodate 4 rv's, and a one-way parking lot for all traffic. Restrooms were clean & flushable toliets.
