This is a gorgeous place to spend the entire day...beautiful scenery, clear water, plenty of shade but also very very popular place and if you don't arrive early you will find it hard to find a parking spot..my family and friends had an amazing time letting our kids enjoy themselves it's a perfect place to swim, canoe, kayak, walk around the lake explore the area so many things to do within the immediate area.. my wife and I had such a memorizing experience walking along the lake just us.. recommend it to couples who want a romantic spot to take pictures.. and like always please clean up after yourself and go by the leave no trace policy and always leave it better than...

The lake is very nice and clean. There were quite a few families there and people with SUP boards and kayaks. We hiked for a bit and the trails were well maintained. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting!
