My family and I have been to Araceli Farms for the last 3 years - each year better than the last.
The first year (2021) we went was such a wonderful experience - a lavender farm not too far from home. Another plus, the lavender farm is owned by a woman of color! The blooms were gorgeous and the picture ops were amazing. The lavender lemonade and lavender cookies were delicious, and of course I couldn’t leave without buying any of the merchandise available. Unfortunately, that year there were a lot of people so we had to be more strategic with our camera angles as well it was sad to see all the trash left around the property.
The next year (2022) was I noticed there were different ticket options available - just the farm visit, the farm visit plus a U-Pick option, a lavender box set (the one I purchased), and one that included all. It was just as amazing with the blooms, the lemonade and cookies and the merch. The photo ops were great but we still had to strategically angle our cameras to avoid getting other visitors in our pictures.
This year (2023), as soon as I got the email that the lavender season was to start, I immediately went online to scope out tickets regardless that the email mentioned that there weren’t as many lavender bushes due to disease. I noticed the different ticket options now also had a limited number of tickets available. This had me immediately buying tickets to secure a spot - I chose the lavender box again. I did notice that the price of the box was more expensive compared to the previous year, but it wasn’t going to stop me from going or purchasing that ticket option again; this year’s lavender box has a few extra things so the price increase was definitely not bad. I have to say that this year was by far my favorite year going to Araceli Farms. Since there were limited tickets for time slots, there weren’t as many people and we got every shot we wanted without being disturbed by other visitors. With less people, I also noticed that the property didn’t have trash everywhere (thank goodness bc people shouldn’t be leaving their trash there!). This year was also the first year we got to meet Justina - the owner. She is super nice and such a wonderful person. I am so glad that she opened her farm for visits. I can see that it takes a lot of work to organize these visits, and am so glad that she continues to open her farm for...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Araceli Lavender Farm, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Although we initially had a bit of trouble finding the entrance, we eventually spotted a sign that guided us in the right direction. Arriving before our scheduled 8am visit, we were greeted by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They made us feel right at home.
The lavender farm itself is a sight to behold. The fields are meticulously maintained, and the vibrant purple hues of the lavender flowers create a truly enchanting atmosphere. One of the highlights was the presence of small tables and chairs, perfect for enjoying a peaceful picnic amidst the fragrant lavender.
Inside the barn, we discovered a treasure trove of lavender products. From essential oils to soaps and candles, there was something for everyone. The farm provides a wonderful opportunity for photo ops, and we took advantage of that by capturing beautiful moments with our loved ones.

Read moreWish I could give a zero star! We booked a 5:30-7:30 pm appointment we reached there at 6:00pm after driving for 4 hours! The lady in the entrance told we can stay in the farm till 8:30, then we felt thankful because she Accommodated timings, so we went to farm store and sat there for sometime. When we entered the actual farm another lady started shouting at us saying it’s closed she was super rude we heard other people arguing too! We Told her were informed that farm closes at 8:30 she dint even try to listen and started yelling at us! We drove outside and told the other lady who initially told us…she told “I am so sorry to hear that but awesome” …not sure what she meant! We were super disappointed! And on top it this place doesn’t look like the pictures we couldn’t explore the farm but we saw the products…not worth it! It’s just waste of money! And you get to encounter very rude and unprofessional staff who will provide wrong...
