We walked this trail from South St., Douglas to Wallum Lake Road Bridge and this section is one of the worst trails we've been on. The only positive is that nature is beautiful. The negative is that off road vehicles have turned up the path so badly that it's hard to walk on. It's like walking on sand at the beach. We went by a beautiful pond but there was no place to sit and enjoy the views, or even consider having a picnic. There are better maintained rail trails...
