We love this place! All the animals seem to be cared for, things are being upgraded all the time, love that the farm is donations and you can feed the animals although the price has gone up to 50 cents per tiny not even a handful of food but hey I understand that's how things get done around there. We went into the shop for the first time and were absolutely amazed by how big it was! There is tons to look at, but prices where rather steep on the majority of things. One thing I do have to say that I have noticed over the many years of going to Anderson and girls. Is the young ladies in the ice cream shop need some serious training on their customer service. Every single time we go in there they just give me the vibe that they are irritated with the fact you even decided to have ice cream, I dread going in there and paying so much to feel bad about making someone do the job they applied for. And this last time we were sitting inside having our ice cream and a young girl with sweatpants, hair down and slippers on came in and made herself a shake or something and then walked out without ever saying a word to anyone. I would think she would have to at the very least put her hair up and wash her hands (which I did not see) Outside of that everyone else I have encountered is friendly! We love coming...

Spent Saturday at this orchard with 4 other adults, a 15 year old and a 5 year old. We live an hour away so we weren't sure what to expect. We got there shortly after they opened at 9am and left around 3:30pm. This particular Saturday happened to be vendor day so there were tons of vendor tents set up selling different flea market type things. This orchard was really cool. Lots of exotic animals and birds to see on the property all for free. We took the tractor ride back to the pumpkin patch and our group picked out a couple of small pumpkins. We found out that they no longer offer apple picking but you can purchase them in the store. They had pony and camel rides available for the kids for $5.00. Cool little farm market/gift shop on site with apples, cider, donuts, jams, jellies, sweets, pickled stuff, clothing etc. There is also a very reasonably priced cafe on site that serves sandwiches, wraps, appetizers, hot dogs and ice cream. Pictured is the chicken salad sandwich, the all meat sandwich, and the ham and cheese all with fries. And an emu. All sandwiches get a choice of soft drink, fries/apple sauce/ cottage cheese. Overall our whole group really enjoyed spending the day here. Lots to offer at this orchard -...

"A Hidden Gem for Families – So Much More Than Just an Orchard"

Anderson’s Orchard is truly a hidden gem in Michigan. While it’s often busy, the well-thought-out layout makes it feel spacious and enjoyable. One of the highlights is their large area with exotic animals, which is a fantastic experience for kids. They have everything from llamas and camels to exotic animals like certain cats, toucans, and even owls. It’s rare to find a place with such a diverse range of animals to feed and observe.

Beyond the animals, they have a huge pumpkin patch that’s perfect for fall visits. There’s a small spot where you can buy ice cream and order food, plus they frequently have food trucks on site. One of the best parts? The homemade donuts and fresh cider. It’s the perfect fall treat, and the quality is top-notch.

While it may be a bit out of the way, Anderson’s Orchard is definitely worth the trip. It’s a great value with so much more to do compared to other orchards like Uncle John’s. For families or anyone looking for a fun day out, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommend stopping by if you're...

We had an incredible time here! Free admission and easy parking! A WIDE range of animals and activities for all to enjoy! The "extras" are very modestly priced, with options to pay with card inside the parakeet feeding barn. There are "food stations" all over where for 50c you can get food out of feed the animals. :) The reindeer barn has a coin change machine! For kiddos that are not as interested in the animals there is a large play ground, many slides, the hay ride, and 2 trains rides (and I'm sure more!) ALL the rides and equipment were very "small child" or "toddler" friendly. This includes the viewing areas for the animals! We did not get a chance to do everything at Anderson and Girls this time around, but we will be able to easily return a few more times this fall because of their free admission! 😁 Don't forget to donate during your visit if you can! It helps keep this great place free admission!

Really a great place to take the family. Nice little country store with fresh fruits, donuts, pies, and other snacks, as well as shirts and other collectables. Petting farm to see and pet both farm animals and various exotic animals from around the world. don't forget the ice cream shop when your all done to cool down and relax before going home. If interested in something up close and personal with the animals for a group of up to 15 you can schedule a private tour for a very modest price of $75. They privovide a private guide and food that takes you around and you can get up close to some of the animals that you could normally only see at a distance through two layers a cage barriers. Touch and feed the Sloth, tortoises, Bearded Dragon, Kangaroos, and some of the other baby mammals they have at the time. (baby bobcats, lemur, wolf cubs, etc).
