Barefoot Farm — Attraction in Dover Township

Nice place, plenty of parking. It was pick-your-own for what I wanted (Black raspberries). Plenty of the berries. I'm not a fan of pick your own, though, and would rather pay a little more to have them already picked for me. The raspberry bushes were below waist high, so very difficult to keep bending over to pick them (I'm older). I ended up not getting nearly as many as I wanted - about 1/4 of what I wanted that day. I ended up going elsewhere to get some already picked black raspberries. However for youngsters and those without back problems, this is great. I went strawberry picking today and was very disappointed that this business is choosing not to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and mask wearing during the current pandemic. A “green phase” does not mean that the virus has vanished, and yet the cashier & (more disturbingly) the ice cream servers were not wearing masks. ServSafe guidelines currently state that masks should be worn by anyone serving food. If this business is picking and choosing what guidelines to follow, it makes me wonder what else is being ignored. We did not purchase ice cream due to this lack of responsibility. Ten out of ten would recommend 😁!Wow what an awesome experience it was at the Barefoot Farm.The atmosphere was very peaceful.The owners (husband and wife) were extremely down to earth and very genuine.This particular day it wasn't crowded and there was plenty of parking.My 7year old son had a great time and experience.It was his first time picking raspberries.He asked to go back.So we will be making another trip there real soon!P.S.the Strawberry Sundae was delicious 😋!!!!!!Thank you...
