This was and is a beautiful park for a car show put on by the Motor Menders Rod-Custom Club or if your not into cars just to spend the day at with plenty of big, beautiful, shade trees, old buildings, and grassy areas for a picnic. It also has imenidies like indoor bathrooms and a playground. This park apparently has a very unique history from what I understand as well that I found out from some of my fellow more experienced car show friends and peeps. It was told to me that there used to be a merry-go-round at the park in one of the buildings and that there used to be a train that you could take to get to the park that would take you from York Pa to the park. No doubt an interesting find in Dover PA and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

A really nice place to have an event with indoor restrooms. There is a jungle gym to the left of the building and a volleyball and basketball courts to the right.

Great park has sandy spot for volleyball/badminton. Shady areas for picnic no charcoal grills

We had our annual church Picnic here on Sunday. This is the 10th time we had the picnic here. We reserved the main building which is very spacious. The building comes with tables and chairs. There are several racks of round tables that comfortably fit 8 chairs for each table. There are about 20 tables and enough chairs to go around. There is a kitchen with a refrigerator and a sink and plenty of counter space. All the windows in the building open, if it is hot it might be worth bringing some fans. The bathrooms are across the parking lot and serve all three buildings. There is a sand volleyball court, a basketball court(currently does not have baskets) , and a small playground with kids can climb on with a slide and swings. The bathrooms and buildings are...

Beautiful scenery, I was there for a wedding. The building was big and open, there was a playground right outside the doors to the building so the kids could play and get some of that built up energy out while the adults took family photos and...
