Dover Dam is such a beautiful place. Located on Route 800, there is plenty of parking for your car, motorcycle, or RV at the top of the dam. After walking down the steps (there are a lot of them, so just be aware if you have any walking difficulties or require any assistance with walking), you will be greeted by the lovely sound of rushing water from the mighty Tuscarawas River. Down here, you will find several picnic tables with trash cans nearby. This is a beautiful area to stop and have lunch on a sunny day. Throughout the year, you will also see kayakers enjoying the water. There are also rocks lining the river to take in this scenic area. There are restrooms, but they have always been locked everytime I have been there. I would love to know how to get to the other side of the dam, so if anyone has the answer to this, please...
