Very disappointing, thought this would be a cool setting for a winery, but the minute I walked in, the smell hit hit me like a brick. Smelled very bad of cats, like they had pissed on everything inside. We were looking forward to wine tasting, eating lunch with a bottle of wine and relaxing. We tasted 3 or 4 different wines, none of which we cared for and we couldn't get out of there fast enough. The thought of trying to eat food made in this place turned my stomach. Nice building and property, but something was foul. Sorry, I hate to be so negative and I'm not big on cats but this place smelled just like a nasty house over run with cats. We didn't see any cats, but it sure smelled like they had sprayed...
Read moreExcellent wines, mostly sweet fruit wines, but there's a favorite for everyone. I love the Pep Rally - dry red, perfect! Teacher's Ade is also a favorite - lemon, sweet, white wine.. the total opposite of my usual choice, but a must have when visiting School House! The grounds are gorgeous. An outdoor patio, an additional covered patio, plus many picnic tables and the covered stage (excellent live music). My favorite was the swing under the tree around the pond. Incredibly relaxing.
Food is so tasty, pizza is delicious! Sample a few wines and then choose your glass or bottle to enjoy!

We enjoyed the wine along with pretzels as well as a chicken cheese & garlic pizza. The pizza was very good and we were glad to see you didn't just give us a Dijornos pizza. It makes a difference when you display quality in your food and wine. On our next trip back to Ohio, we will be by for more! ...
