I got married at Ma Maison on November 10th and have to say how AMAZING my experience was! My husband and I live in Chicago and looked for over a year for the perfect venue. None could even compare to Ma Maison. We wanted a venue that had a beautiful ceremony location that was on the same property as the reception site to maximize our time which we clearly never found in Chicago. Ma Maison has a beautiful bridal suite for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in. I chose to add on the LuxWed package that allowed myself and my girls to have additional time in the morning for hair and makeup while being provided brunch, lunch and a mimosa bar. I would highly suggest adding on this package to any bride, it is well worth it! There is even a groom’s room for the guys to go to! Being spaced on opposite sides of the building, my groom was able to take photos with his guys outside while I was on the opposite end with my bridesmaids and we never saw each other. There are three gorgeous ceremony sites to choose from, the options were endless! We chose the largest of the three, the Grove. Surrounded by live oak trees, it was gorgeous even in November. There are two doors that lead to the ceremony site and before I walked down the aisle, the doors were closed to create a reveal into the ceremony. It was everything I had ever dreamed of, the moment my groom saw me as the doors opened was perfection! Three weeks later I still have family that says how beautiful our ceremony site was. A short walk over to the Trellis was cocktail hour. Mind you, the pathways are all paved. No dirt or gravel so your dress doesn't get filthy and none of your guests heels sink! It just so happened that the weekend of my wedding, a cold front blew in. Ma Maison has clear enclosures that can be dropped down and heaters can be rented to ensure that your guests stay warm and cozy even in colder temps. For photos, the locations are ENDLESS! The other two ceremony sites are the Green Cathedral and the Lake View. The Green Cathedral is the most unique location, it is actually a reclaimed French antique gazebo, originally from France! The structure is one of a kind which makes the photos breathtaking! There is a green “tunnel of love” going from the main building to the Green Cathedral, covered in vines. That is another perfect picture spot. The Lake View site is just before Lac Moise, the “it” spot to take photos with the fountain behind you. Our photographer made sure to get some photos there! The Great Hall really blew our guests away, with the high ceilings and wooden beams, it was (literally) picture perfect for our reception! We had our grand entrance down the staircase into our reception which was very special, all of our guests could see us. In one wing of the Great Hall, there is a living room set with a fireplace and sitting area, it made the big room seem homier. At the end of the night we did our sparkler exit. There is a long pathway to the circle drive entrance which is once again, perfect for photos! Ma Maison literally means “My House” in French and my husband and I really did feel at home at this gorgeous gem of a venue. Karen, the owner, did an amazing job! Which brings me to point #2: Karen is THE BEST! She really did think of everything while creating Ma Maison. With decades of experience, she knows her stuff! Karen created the Trellis in mind of a built-in rain plan. If it had rained or gotten too cold for my guests, we could have had the ceremony under the Trellis with the enclosures and heaters. Karen always answered my emails in a timely manner and was very accommodating. The day of my wedding, our rental company was setting up the draping I had ordered for the Trellis. There was a minor snafu but Karen was out there with me discussing the options and giving her honest opinion, she took the time to make sure I was happy on my wedding day. I cannot say enough about how great it was to work with Karen and her team! Ma Maison is a clear choice and I highly suggest this venue to anyone who is looking for a timeless and elegant wedding venue!

We could not have been happier with Ma Maison. We got married about 2 weeks ago. Our ceremony was supposed to be outside at the Oak Grove, but severe storms all weekend had us utilize our rain plan in the terrace. While I was initially sad that we wouldn’t say “I do” under those beautiful oak trees we had a beautiful ceremony under the Trellis. The rain hitting the roof added perfectly to the ceremony and like magic stopped for the evening when we got to our vows. Cut back to about 10 months ago when we were looking at venues. We drove into Ma Maison and were immediately in awe of the green cathedral and then beautiful tuscan style architecture of the main building in the background. As we walked around the space we were shown a beautiful bridal suite, which has plenty of space to get ready, the grooms suite, with a door out to the side yard where there’s corn hole, horseshoes, and other yard games for them to play while they wait, plenty of bathrooms for you and your guests, the great hall with a nice lofted area, and of course all their beautiful ceremony sites. We picked the Oak Grove as our site, because I was in love with the look of the giant oak trees behind the altar, with our rain plan in the Trellis area, which I already mentioned that we used. The thing that sold me on Ma Maison was their bell tower. There’s a bell in there that you actually get to ring, which of course we did after our ceremony! Ma Maison offers a good selection of their own rentals. We ended up renting some big, old farm tables for our head table as well as some other small decor like a chandelier for the ceremony and some LED candles for decoration. The rentals are a super reasonable price and nice that you don’t have to coordinate rental pick up and drop off with another vendor. About a month out we got to do our final walk-through of the venue and go over final details. Here we talked about our rain plan and the general timeline of the events the day of our wedding. We were introduced to two sweet ideas that give the newly married couple a moment to enjoy the wedding. The first was a private dinner before you go out and get introduced to your guests. This takes place in the bridal sweet and 10/10 would recommend this. It was so nice to be able to enjoy this moment with my new husband, and actually get to eat the food you pay for :). The second was a final last dance. This happens when you announce that the couple is getting ready for their departure. While people are organizing outside you and your new spouse get to have a final private dance in the empty great hall. It’s a really cool photo-op and an even better quite, intimate moment that you two get to share. On the day of our wedding it was raining. I walked into our bridal suite and immediately broke into tears when I saw a small jar of rain water with a note on it. Ma Maison had collected rain water that morning and jarred it for us to keep use on our future child at their christening. It made the start of my wedding so so magical and sweet. The team at Ma Maison truly think abut everything!!

I cannot even begin to explain how perfect Ma Maison is. I will try to summarize my experience into 2 parts: The Owner and The Venue The Owner: SO....around 3AM the morning of the wedding, a good portion of the bridal party (including myself), all woke up with TERRIBLE food poisoning. I was worried about making it down the aisle. Karen, the owner, stopped in to greet the bridal party upon our arrival to the venue, and quickly learned of our food poisoning. As the hair and makeup girls went to work, Karen (who is also a nurse), immediately got to work to make sure that we were all taken care of. She could not have been more helpful, kind, gracious....she's incredible. While we all remained sick through the evening, Karen continued to check in on all of us and had the caterer make us special meals. While I could go on and on about Karen, know this -- she is the best. You won't find a better venue owner. Period. The Venue: Two weeks after our engagement, we toured venues (I had read online about how the best wedding venues in ATX often get booked more than a year out -- this is true! Don't delay!). We ended up touring 17 venues in one week/weekend. Because of the flooding that weekend, we had to change our route to Ma Maison and were running late. Since we were on such a tight schedule, we did not get the full tour. Karen gave us a super quick walk-through, but that was all we needed. We both knew the second we saw the property/venue that this was the one for us. It is perfect. Karen, who planned weddings for 20+ years prior to building this property, did not miss a detail. She knew exactly what the perfect wedding venue needs, and she executed it perfectly with Ma Maison. Every vendor loves working there, every guest loves visiting there, and I could not have been happier with our entire experience. It really is a picture-perfect venue with a fantastic owner and staff. I can't say enough good things about Ma Maison. Best decision we made for our wedding.

Ma Maison was our dream wedding venue come to life. After touring close to 20 ceremony and reception sites, everything paled in comparison once we stopped in to visit Ma Maison. Even though it was still under construction when we first came by, we were hooked. It is not your typical hill country restored barn or converted cottage, but a truly one-of-a-kind, sophisticated and elegant event space. The drive out to the venue is a quick and easy 40 minutes from downtown Austin and is very accessible right off of Highway 290, nestled back in the hills off Bell Springs Road. When you arrive, you are greeted through a giant wrought iron gate welcoming you to the grounds. There is a ton of parking available and special access in the back just for your vendors to load in. Everything is brand spanking new and in top notch condition. Once you step inside the venue, The Great Hall itself is quite the sight to behold - warm and inviting with 8 ginormous, breathtaking chandeliers and special ordered intricate mirrors adorning the walls. The dark walnut-stained wood used to construct the interior is gorgeous and compliments the lighting, large open space, and high ceilings. There's a grand staircase leading right up to a small landing that creates a perfect space for an open air Photo Booth or your dessert tables. The Juliet balcony they built to overlook the party going on downstairs is an awesome extra touch and great for people watching. The bridal suite is a magical, romantic room created to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Private bathroom, flat screen TV, wireless speaker system - the works. The decor and furniture inside the suite is simply divine - my description would not do it justice (just go check it out!). We ended up taking a bunch of photos inside the bridal suite, it was that beautiful and worth capturing. There's also a special groom's suite too with a flat screen TV, leather couches and a private area outside. There's a really cool covered trellis patio with misters and fans and cute strung lighting. It made the perfect spot for our pre and post ceremony cocktail hour. Our wedding was over Labor Day weekend, so we did not utilize the fire pit, but it is encompassed by rocking chairs and looks very cozy. One of the many great things about Ma Maison and is that they allow you the freedom to select your own vendors so you are not restricted in any way. Your rental fee includes ceremony and reception tables and chairs which are in great condition and made of high quality materials. The venue also supplies farmhouse tables and handcrafted bars on wheels so you can move them anywhere you want. The bars are huge and awesome. The kitchen is a caterers dream come true - it's huge! You can tell that the venue layout and decor very was carefully thought out and creatively designed. Again, go check it out! Above all though, the Moise family were incredible to work with. No matter how many emails or phone calls, both Karen and her daughter Rachael were there to help us with anything (ANYTHING). You can tell they genuinely love what they do and it shows in how they treat you, your family and friends, and your vendors. I was so impressed by how they had thought of everything a wedding could need, big and small. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique and memorable hill country wedding that feels like home. At Ma Maison, you are treated like family. Thank you to the Moise's for making our...

I truly cannot find enough superlative adjectives to do justice in describing Ma Maison. We had a dream team of vendors supporting us leading up to and on our wedding day, but the best decision we made in our planning process, hands down, was choosing Ma Maison as our venue.

I knew it was perfect for our wedding within five minutes of stepping onto the property – and it was still under construction at the time! I wanted all of the rustic beauty of the Hill Country, but in an elegant, perfectly polished setting with the ability to comfortably accommodate our 275 guests (plus a 10-piece band and big dance floor!). Ma Maison offered this, but also so much more. Their grounds are absolutely stunning. The property is expansive, with rolling hills as far as you can see, a lovely lake with a rowboat and windmill, shady oak trees…and they are even planting fields of bluebonnets! Dripping Springs is also a perfect wedding venue location, from a convenience perspective. It is far enough from Austin such that you feel very much in the heart of the Hill Country, but you can also book hotel blocks and host other wedding weekend events in the city, as we did.

Ma Maison offers three beautiful outdoor ceremony sites, but given the unpredictability of Texas weather, we also needed an equally beautiful Plan B. The Great Hall is stunning with a dozen crystal chandeliers and wood beams adorning the vaulted ceiling, a stone fireplace, two alcoves, polished concrete floors, a grand staircase, and a Juliette balcony overlooking the downstairs. This was always meant to be our reception site, but due to inclement weather, my husband and I were the first couple to also hold our ceremony in the Great Hall. Ma Maison also offers the covered Trellis as a Plan B ceremony site, which is lovely, with strung bistro lights and an adjacent stone fire pit. We used this area for our cocktail hour, as an incredible team flipped the Great Hall in just 45 minutes for our reception.

Ma Maison also offers benefits and resources I didn’t even know I needed when we chose to book it. These include three beautiful wood bars, fruitwood chairs, walnut Chivari chairs, round tables, cocktail tables, farmhouse tables, wine barrels, lounge furniture, and tons of gorgeous décor, such as lanterns, easels, and grape crates. They also have a large, fully equipped caterer’s kitchen and green room for your entertainment. Another fun, convenient touch is their beautifully furnished Bride’s Salon, which opens into a private rose garden, and the Texas-themed Groom’s Den, which is adjacent to a grassy area with lawn games.

Finally, and most importantly, Karen Moise and her family (the owners of Ma Maison) were a gift to me in so many ways throughout my engagement and on my wedding day. Karen has such vision and beautiful taste and was an invaluable resource as we were determining our layout (particularly when we had to reorient everything for our rain plan!). She is also such a warm, kind, calming presence and is a joy to have supporting you on your wedding day. I was so very grateful for her.

Again, there aren’t enough words to describe how much we loved Ma Maison! We hope to have the chance to return there for friends’ weddings in the future, to relive our incredible evening...
